I've been reading this list for a week or so, and I thought
I'd take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is
Rachel. I'm a librarian, an avid reader of hardboiled
fiction, and a huge fan of Patricia Highsmith and Jack
O'Connell. When is someone going to make movies of the
Quinsigamond books? The decaying factory city of Worcester
Mass. (the real Quinsigamond) is the perfect setting for a
noir film. Geir: if you liked Box 9 and Wireless, you will
love Skin Palance and Word Made Flesh.
