RARA-AVIS: New noir website

With Bill's indulgence, I'd like to ask for assistance in setting up a new non-commercial website. I'm hoping it will become a valuable resource for anyone interested in noir writing. The idea is to celebrate and promote noir fiction, past and present, as well as help the many writers among us. If anyone would care to contribute by means of articles on noir, noir authors, or related topics (previously published is fine) or reviews of excellent noir novels, please contact me off-list. Articles or reviews from the rara-avis archives would also be hugely appreciated. There's so much useful information there, it's a shame not to publicise it. For my purposes, noir is defined as: "what we discuss on this list." Payment, I'm afraid, will only be in the form of my gratitude. But, as Eugene Izzi pointed out when talking to John Williams ("Into the Badlands"), "You know what money does: it takes away your money problems, that's all." And besides, I'm Scottish.

Thanks
