Well, the long lasting relationship seems to be pretty much
over. No one reads new Russian authors here, except for a
handful of scholars, hence I know nothing about new Russian
crime writers. Only a few translations and mostly from
Estonia. (Not hardboiled, though.) And Estonia isn't part of
Russia anymore.
