During the audience question period of Donald Westlake's
appearance
tonight, someone asked him what he thought was the perfect
mystery
novel. He said none are perfect, but his favorite is probably
Red Right
Hand by Joel Townsley Rogers. He said it grabbed you right at
the
beginning and never let you go. He also said Rogers never wrote
another
book like it.
I've never heard of this book. Has anyone read it? What kind
of
mystery is it? And is it that good?
Mark
