ridiculous degree, so I'm probably cutting my nose off to spite my face
by refusing to read Prather. But then, I can only really enjoy Bellem's
short stories -- I can't imagine reading an entire novel of that stuff.>

A few years ago, Dennis MacMillan reissued Bellem's novel "Blue Murder".
It's quite funny, and the plot is full of surrealistic twists and turns
- and, as usual in Bellem, tremendously violent.
