Wed, 17 Dec 1997 10:10:51 -0500 (EST) Tawdry Town is really entertaining. I just discovered it for myself a few
days ago and now you, James, are the second person in as many days to
mention it to me. I'll get in contact w/ the creator of the page and see
what he has to say about the kind of cover art I'm looking for.

There's a Vin Packer short story in *American Pulp* called "Hot Snow"
which I like quite a bit. I snapped up a bunch (five) signed Vin Packer
Gold Medal originals yesterday -- I find her career intriguing for some
reason. I heard the same story about Block (that he won't discuss his
Midwood days), which I think is total jive, frankly. You'd think a huge
success like Block would own up to everything he's written in his life.
How would the DC store that has "Block's" stuff priced so high KNOW that
he was the author? M-
