    Let's face it, with all the action in the past few days, another go around of definitions isn't necessary, but thanks for periodically reminding us of "Duhamel's Definition of Noir" which, as you say, is not a definiton at all, but more a compendium.

    The true definitions are:

    Noir = Screwed

    Hardboiled = Tough
