I have only read two of the books from Estleman's Detroit series, but after several false starts, I blitzed through the Amos Walker series a few years back. As best as I can remember, Sinister Heights is my favorite in the series and it has an automotive noir sensibility running through it.

    (Slight spoiler)

I'm a sucker for The Conspiracy Goes All The Way to the Top! stories, and Sinister Heights delivers.
