Well, the crime-writing Don Winslow has expressed surprise at the porn-writing Don Winslow and declared that they are two different people. But who can trust a guy that makes stuff up for a living?

You can't go wrong with Don Winslow. (Unless you accidentally pick up one of the pornos by a *different* Don Winslow, like SLAVE GIRLS OF ROME. Not to be confused.)

    John:

You're telling me SLAVE GIRLS OF ROME was written by a "different" Don Winslow? Get outta town. Seriously? Sheesh. And that things was hard to find.

What makes you think it's a different Don Winslow? Many writers write porn for money, and the porn by Don Winslow is extensive and very well written, classically written I might say, using Frank Harris et al as a template. I think it's the same writer we're talking about.
