Here in white hot Palm Springs for the tenth annual noir fest & just saw The Big Night (1951) for the first time. Wonder if any Rara Avians have read the novel upon which this film was based - Dreadful Summit by Stanley Ellin - & whether it was dreadful. I liked the movie.. Wo
