I don't know whether it's been mentioned here or not, but in case it hasn't, Dave Zeltserman's "Julius Katz," one of the most original variations on what William DeAndrea once called the "Nero Wolfe Paradigm" I've ever seen, was a finalist for a Derringer in the Best Novelette category.

The voting results will probably be announced in the next few weeks.  Congratulations on your nomination, Dave, and best of luck!
