I was watching an episode of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour this weekend and noticed in the opening credits that the screenplay had been written by David Goodis. It was a great story, but I think I it was based on some else's short story. It was one of those little gems that Hitchcock shows were known for. It was called "An Out for Oscar" and starred Larry Storch who went on to star in F Troop later in the 60s.
