Never read Slob, but I thought Frenzy was one of the worst books I've ever touched. Really repellent in terms of theme and execution.

Keep an eye open at your local used bookstores--the ones that sell remainders--cause you can always find the Centipede press books there eventually. Right now, Half-Price Books has a lot of copies of Fredric Brown's Here Comes a Candle.and John Franklin Bardin's The Deadly Percheron. If you're near NYC, there's Strand Books.

wow, that is interesting. i like centipede but the prices are too much for me. i'd like to read the intro and essay by miller. i got paperback versions of the sturgeon and bardin that were cheaper than what i see on their website. wish i could find the fred browns for less.

Interestingly enough, a signed/limited (signed by author of the introduction
since Miller passed away some time ago) HC of SLOB was just released.
