My impression is that the value of these old books is quite volatile. And these days, people don't have a lot of money to spend on collectibles (books or any other kind). Unless you find the right buyer, it's probably hard to get decent money for those old books.
The availability on Kindle is encouraging, despite everything that has been said here, pro and con. Any plans to massively reissue Gold Medals? A Prather reissue would be wonderful. Also Wade Miller, William Campbell Gault and several others who have not fared well with reissues. And don't forget Lionel White!
