    Al, it would be a mistake to look at any of the successes now in ebooks and carry it forward into a future ebook world, which as David Thompson has pointed out, will probably look a lot like YouTube of today.

    Right now in these early days, lesser known authors can make a little bit of money with their ebooks, but think ahead on what this ebook world will look like when 100s of thousand ebooks fill these stores, many of them being offered for free by desperate authors trying to get some attention. Any sort of extrapolation of today to then would be pointless.
