It should say in large letters LOOSELY based on The Jugger. There were
three scenes in the movie which you will recognize from the book thats
it. Everything else is just Godard being Godard with the rise of his
political slant shining through. Sure he names some of the characters
after authors and actors associated with the genre. But it does have one
thing that shines through. The colors just pop off the screen like a pop
art painting come to life.
