There are only two more days to vote for the winners of the second
annual Spinetingler awards, and there are several Rara-Avis authors in
the running. (In the Rising Star category nominees include Christa
Faust, Allan Guthrie and Ray Banks.) To vote, follow this link
http://www.spinetinglermag.com/node/35 The categories are inside a
box with its own scroll bar, so use the scroll bar, and be sure to
click "submit" under each section. The poll is set up with each
category as an individual poll so that those who want to go and read
the short stories first can do so but still cast votes right away.
The links to the short stories and covers that have been nominated are
below the box with the polls.
Winners will be determined by public vote. In the event of two
legitimate voters residing in the same home (therefore sharing an IP
address) you can e-mail me your picks, identify yourself and the other
voter so that I know it isn't an attempt to vote twice, and those
selections will be manually added before the winners are determined.
Some categories are still too close to call, so every vote could make
a difference. The winning titles will have promotion on the
Spinetingler site for the next year.
