    I second your thoughts with sadness when I think about the miriads of great past films discovered here, noir or not noir, crime or not...Most of the
    Œgood ones¹ are nowadays rare in between and/or either not distributed or confined to TV appearances with so little fanfare that drown¹em in the adolescent conformity mixer...Once in a while shines a nasty light though, just like at the entrance of Deadwood...
