    I disagree. I don't think the ending is what makes a film a 'noir', but generally all of those films that have happy endings that the general populace think of as noirs ("Laura", "Key Largo", etc.), bear little resemblance to films like "Out of the Past", "DOA", "Double Indemnity", etc. Tony



    If you don't think LAURA and KEY LARGO are film noirs, then you and I live on different planets.
