I loved Electric Mist with the Confederate Dead and have read several others by James Lee Burke, most recently Tin Roof Blowdown. Tin Roof is interesting but not in the same class as Electric Mist in my warped opinion. Perhaps because Katrina was so traumatic (family involved)I I found the book disappointing and that might have nothing to do with the writing,
