    Another one who collected a huge number of rejections was Gabriel García Márquez's _Cien años de soledad_, now considered a classic and translated into practically every language out there. But if publishers could not find a story in Faulkner... maybe they couldn't find a story in García Márquez's masterpiece, either. This stuff is weird.
