On January 6, 1997, Bill Denton announced the creation of a new list,
this list. So we will soon turn 12, the de facto age of adulthood in
premodern times.
So, on January 6, 2009, the bottles that are kept in the lower
left-hand drawer of desks in many parts of the world will be taken out
and a swig or two taken. And if you don't have a drawer or a bottle,
or life has dissuaded you from imbibing, make up your own celebration...
And, as well, take a moment to remember Raravians who are no longer
with us.
