I thought DEATH SENTENCE was an equally good book as DEATH WISH and I really
saw it as a comment on the movies. In Garfield's sequel Paul Benjamin is
clearly a psychopath, not a hero in any way of the word. One might compare it
to THE TAXI DRIVER.
Haven't seen the recent movie, but comments on it weren't very encouraging.
