    I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Gregory McDonald.

    I LOVED the first two FLETCH books, and they in turn led me to Jonathan Gash's equally sarcastic (and far-less honest) smarmy antique dealer LOVEJOY, who in turn led me to Emore Leonard and Carl Hiassen and thence right back to our own belovedly sarcastic Raymond Chandler all over again.

    Sheesh, I think I'm sensing a theme developing here...
