WAY OF A WANTON by Richard S. Prather has a Hollywood setting. Being Prather it is of course anything but noir, but is hardboiled enough for this list. Great? Well, it includes one of my favourite Shell Scott scenes - Shell goes skinny dipping while visting a location shoot, and has to escape from some bad guys buck naked.
