Finland's very own Tapani Bagge who's written a half dozen
excellent hardboiled and noir crime novels (one of which I'm
translating into English, slowly but surely) has also
scripted some comics, mainly two short graphic novels about
an American-Finnish mafia torpedo, Kovanen, who shoots his
way through the Chicago underworld in the late twenties. See
