curious to understand why you feel you can be dismissive of
an author like Ellroy who's accomplished so much more than
you have. If he were just another middle class brat with
nothing to say, describing violence he's never known to turn
a dollar and entertain other middle class brats who otherwise
do their utmost to avoid crime and violence, I might be more
incline to agree with you. Since you've done all this
reading, Kevin, why not make your posts more analytical of
the plots and characters, and less antagonistic of writers
who, as I mentioned previously, are a lot better than you
are?
