'Bunny Lake is missing' must be the novel on which the 1965
Otto Preminger film, with Laurence Olivier, is based. A young
mother reports her child missing from school on her first
day, but head scratching starts when the police find there is
no record of the child. Decent thriller, do wonder if the
film's ending is that of the book having never read it.
