I was listening to a call-in radio show Sunday morning on my
way to work and the guest was Dennis Lahane. He, along with
George Pelecanos and about five other writers had announced
they would never find anyone guilty of a drug charge of any
kind if they were empaneled on a jury. Sounds like a ploy to
get out of jury duty, but they're serious.
