It's been almost 20 years since I saw it, but I thought it
was excellent. I haven't read the book, though.
(I seem to remember from an ancient review that the head guy
of The Fuzztones
(does anyone remember them anymore?) said NIGHTMARE ALLEY is
his favourite movie. He said it epitomizes his view of the
world perfectly. What's the guy's name? That I can't
