I have read all the Connelly novels through THE OUTLOOK. I
know there are a lot of red herrings, but I've never been
able to figure out the the eventual endings until I read the
above book. I didn't know the ending exactly, but I was sure
very early that the whole setup was phony.
Did anyone else have that happen? Connolly has tried
protagonists other than Bosch and used first person rather
than third. Will he experiment with something other than hard
boiled? Mark
