No, his films have never lost money. He breaks even outside
the US, and the rest is gravy. He does make money. His
producers make a modest investment and get a good return. If
you invest 5 million and make 10 million, that's 100% profit,
no less. Joffe, at least, has been with Allen for years and
years, since his first films. I don't know if Rollins is
still on board.
