JLB is writing some of the most descriptive and beautiful prose in the biz. THE TIN ROOF BLOW DOWN was a riff on the Hurricane Katrina aftermath in NOLA. Robicheaux is more hard-boiled and uncompromising than ever (not to mention Clete). Made my top 10 for 2007.
