Alain Robbe-Grillet, the famous/infamous/sulfurous
agronomist/novelist/ essayist/filmmaker/lecturer etc, who's
name pops up occasionnally on this list, died today at the
age of 84. Promoter of the "New Novel" and the "New New
Novel", ARG managed to write cinematic novels which were at
