I'd say Pierce Brosnan's THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR is superior to the McQueen original. I'd also say that Brosnan is more interesting in other roles than he ever was as James Bond, citing this, THE TAILOR OF PANAMA and his early NOMADS as examples. I hear that THE MATADOR is interesting as well
