Actually, it's the third. GNF and the first two DKA novels,
DEAD SKIP and FINAL NOTICE, form a trilogy in which DKA
contends the Mob. They're all based on incidents deriving
from the real-life DKA's encounters with Jimmy "The Weasel"
Frattiano.
