I've been meaning to read it, since Westlake's a better writer of fantasy and sf than even he gives himself credit for (and always forgiving the remarkably foolish ANARCHAOS). It's more a fantasy than a "realisitc" or otherwise science-fictional end of the world story, though, isn't it?
