Just thought some of you might be interested in UNION
STATION, being shown tomorrow morning on TCM (10:00am EST;
9:00am CST; 8:00am MST; and 7:00am PST).
It's based on one of my favorite cop novels, Thomas Walsh's
NIGHTMARE IN MANHATTAN, with the action changed from NYC's
Grand Central Station to Chicago's Union Station (though Los
Angeles's Union Station was probably used for most of the
location shooting).
William Holden plays the hero, a railroad cop working the
Union Station, and now that I'm a railroad cop working
Chicago's Union Station myself, it has a resonance for me it
never had before.
