I've just picked up mine yesterday after work, after having read Bill Crider and Ed Gorman's raves, and I can say that even the CJ Daly Race Williams novel, which takes up a tenth of the book, starts well enough. And then there are all the good writers. And at least one cartoonist, represented by two strips of historical interest from a SPICY pulp.

As someone on Ed's blog noted, at least one of the parts of the omnibus was published separately, and Amazon would like to redundantly sell you that standalone along with the triple-decker
(which resembles a small, but thick, phone book).
