Had Mr. and Mrs. Altman known that, by the process of their procreation of Robert, they would someday be responsible for inflicting THE LONG GOODBYE on the world, they would have remained celibate.

I am constantly amazed at people who profess to be Chandler fans who can, not only stomach this film, but enjoy it.
