Interesting to note that 'literary' fiction has never been
less popular than it is at the moment. I suspect it will have
to rebrand itself if it's going to avoid ever-increasing
marginalization. Sales have been in freefall for some time
and the majority of publishers and agents have been focusing
heavily on literary non-fiction instead for a good while
now.
