Hi Mark-- All of the names you cite with the exception of
Crowley & Evans (never heard of those before, but that
might be my ignorance) are confirmed Block bylines. A few of
them (Dexter, Shaw, Lord) also function as house names at
Greenleaf, & so are not all Block (the reason they also
appear for Midwood has to to with SMLA's "black box"--these
were two BIG pulp erotica houses, & SM seems to have used
them partly due to their ability to handle volume. (Check out
Earl Kemp's eZine "eI" & Feral House's "Sin-A-Rama" for
more details.) A bookseller on ABE seems to think "Gary
