Pronzini's Nameless shared the stage with other
detectives at least twice. One was, as you mention, with
Marcia Muller's Sharon McCone in DOUBLE (1984). Please note
that the correct name of Ms. Muller's detective is McCone,
not McCrone. Perhaps you altered the name as a form of
commentary?
The other Pronzini novel featuring another detective was his
collaboration with Collin Wilcox's Lt. Frank Hastings in
TWOSPOT.
