Fwiw, I too prefer a relatively narrow focus on the actual
literature and directly related matters. It's at best mildly
interesting to see what the positions of list members are on
the issue. Those who wish to debate the question can probably
find more appropriate venues.
Just one person's opinion, fwiw as I said.
