Like you, I read him a long time ago, but many of his images
have stayed with me. The one you liked was probably The
Voyeur. The one on the plantation, Jealousy. As I mentioned
to miker, The Erasers, his first, is his most orthodox crime
novel, but it already has tendencies of what he called the
"New Novel."
