Hey William,

Sorry to nitpick, but After the Thin Man didn't win a Best Picture Oscar. It was nominated for best script but lost to "The Story of Louis Pasteur." Godfather 2 was the first sequel to win Best Picture.
Godfater 2 was pretty hard-boiled, though.
