Is that the one he showed at noir night at LCC in Monterey Jack? If so, it was excellent. I love his film noir books (he's THE expert on noir as far as I'm concerned). I wish we would get another work of fiction from him soon. His two Billy Nichols books were wonderful.

I'm looking forward to seeing the film (based on a story he wrote for the upcoming anthology HELL OF A WOMAN (from Busted Flush Press, edited by Megan Abbott). Eddie's story is one of my favourites in the anthology. There's also a story from Daniel Woodrell which is probably the best short story I have ever read. Genius.
