Hi All-- Yes, she was 13 and his cousin. They were married,
happily by all accounts, for 8 years before she developed TB,
and endured 5 years of lingering decline before dying in
1847.
The whole story is told on wikipedia; the most interesting
part might be what happened to her after her death.
