I've heard from someone over the years (or read somewhere)
that according to H., the use of the censorially acceptable
"mother-raper" was a deliberate act to expose hypocrisy, the
word being (as someone here just pointed out) far worse of a
word in content than the censorially unacceptable
"motherfucker."
(Sounds to me like the nippled superbowl of the late fifties.
