This one has been on my list for a while mainly because I was so underwhelmed by the Nic Ray film that everyone raves about even if George Anthiel did do the soundtrack. I go back and forth on Nicholas Ray so I'm curious as to what actually was in novel. Some of the others I've seen but not read and will try and track down "The Man on the Roof." I liked those Swedish crime books back when. I'll look into the others and thanks for taking the time to respond.
